Coal Laboratory - Solid fuel analyses

Premises of the companies Hrabák and Úpravna uhlí Komořany

The Laboratory realizes

• analyses of solid fuels
• analyses of mine and waste waters and weighting materials (heavy media)
• inspection of manometers and safety valves

The Laboratory offers to external customers

• determination of calorific value and carbon for calculation of the emission factor for purposes of greenhouse gas emission monitoring in conformity with the Act No. 695/2004 and the Regulation No. 696/2004.

Certificates

By the end of 2006 the Laboratory was awarded the Accreditation Certificate No. 545/2006 for the test laboratory No. 1493. The Certificate was issued by the company ČIA, o.p.s., based on assessment of fulfillment of the accreditation criteria conforming to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The Certificate is valid till 31.12. 2009.

Subject of accreditation

Solid fuel analyses, determination of water, ash and sulfur content, calorific value, carbon and hydrogen.
