Connection conditions
Every customer who wishes to connect and consume electrical energy from the local distribution network (hereinafter LDN) of Coal Services a.s. (hereinafter CCS) must fulfil the conditions for electrical consumption from LDN CCS indicated below.
- Arrange and take part in a meeting between the customer and the electricity dealer (CCS Energy Division or another recommended division) to select the technical and financial options for connection to the access point, and conclude an electrical supply contract.
- Request the form Application for Connection to the Distribution System from the CCS Energy Division (hereinafter ED) or on the company’s website. In keeping with Law 458/2000 of the legal code and Decree 51/2006 of the legal code, this application is divided into two versions based upon the power level of the customer’s connection – either a low tension system (hereinafter LT) or a high tension system (hereinafter HT). The application form contains all the information required for connection of the customer to LDN CCS. When the application is submitted, it must be supplemented by the estimated electrical load (quarterly for LT and monthly for HT) and, for HT systems, the estimated consumption diagram for individual months with yearly and monthly reserve capacity power indicated.
- After submitting the application to ED CCS, the customer will obtain a binding decision on the requested connection within the 30 day legal limit area
- Coal Services a.s. provides electrical power supplies on the presumption that the customer:
- Submits documentation proving payment of his share of costs for connection and the provision of the power supply requested
- Submits the review certificate for the consumption equipment
- Fulfils the conditions designated in the decision on the application for connection
- Concludes a connection contract
- Concludes a contract for services connected to the supply of electricity
- Before connecting to the LDN CCS access point, the customer must conclude a Contract for Connection of Consumption Facility to the Distribution Network of the Operator, in keeping with Decree 51/2006 of the legal code.
- The contract for the provision of electricity is concluded on the basis of a filled out Application for Conclusion of the Contract for Supply of Electricity (Category C for LT and Categories A,B for HT systems). On the basis of the submitted application, a contract is concluded for services associated with the supply of electricity, including the designation of a precise date for supply to begin.
- The contract for the provision of electrical supply includes Distribution Conditions for LT, HT and, additionally, Terms and Conditions for Electrical Supply from the LT or HT networks. These conditions determine further matters to do with the consumption of electricity which are not indicated in the contract.
- In carrying out any technical work on the wiring system at the consumption point, the Rules for Operation of the Distribution System must be strictly adhered to, as must the Connection Conditions and applicable technical norms.
The Rules for Operation of the Local Distribution System (ROLDS) are created by individual energy companies active in electrical energy distribution. They are approved by the Energy Regulation Office.
Rules for operation of the distribution system
- stipulate minimum technical, planning, operational and informational requirements for connection of users to the LDN.
- provide comprehensive information without the necessity of working with many interrelated sources of legal, technical and other data
