Czech Coal Group companies based in Northern Bohemia (Czech Coal a.s., VUAS, and LUAS), and the group’s subsidiaries are some of the most important employers in the Ústecký Region. They provide jobs to almost 5,000 employees, who accounted for about 6.8% of the employed population of the District of Most, where the majority (71%) of the Group’s employees live, in 2010.
